When I was in my bed taking my last
breath;
I heard a knock at my door and I knew it was death.
I stare at her with concern in my eyes
her hair is messy and she has a smile

her wrists have been kissed with scars that hurt

her face is covered with freckles, little specks of dirt

I stare into her eyes, a piece of earth, there's something more that she's worth.

As I stare a little longer I start to see, there is a lot in common, oh wait that is just a reflection of me.

I dodged a bullet, not every bullet is the same
Some are out the blue, while others engrave your name.
Some pierce through your heart while others pierce through your skin
it's just a matter of a lose or win.
They say beauty is pain
beauty it drips
in a red form of liquid that makes me sick
they say the scars last
well so will mine
maybe for awhile or a lifetime
I guess I wrote this about cutting...
Should I write you a love letter or a death note
your love ties a noose around my throat
our love; I'll die for
a feeling so sincere, that I haven't felt before
You and I were like a garden and a war,
we both fell in love, which left our hearts quite sore
prettiest flowers now covered in blood, the bright skies cloaked with gloom
I'm afraid my little flowers would never bloom.
Felt like an eternity waiting for your birthday
now death is all you wait for
the presents wrapped, was all you crave
now the roses remain still on your grave
so excited, hard to fall asleep the night before
now death is sleep you die for.
